Overland Vehicle Services was founded in 1989 with a simple idea: that Land Rover owners deserved genuine specialist expertise, delivered honestly and without the main-dealer mark-up. What began as a small workshop servicing and repairing Land Rovers has grown steadily, year on year, into one of Norfolk's most trusted independent Land Rover specialists.
That growth has never come from advertising. It's come from doing the job properly. Owners bring us their vehicles, we look after them well, and they tell their friends, which is exactly how most of our new customers still find us today. Over the years that word-of-mouth reputation has meant expanding our workshop and our capabilities to keep up with demand, while never losing the attention to detail and personal service that got us here.
Dealer-level expertise, independent values
Land Rovers have changed enormously over the years, and we've invested to stay ahead of them. We subscribe to Land Rover's own TOPIx technical system and run manufacturer-level diagnostic equipment, giving us the same technical information and fault-finding capability as a franchised dealer. When we service your vehicle, we update its service history online directly with the manufacturer, and we've serviced vehicles from brand new for years with no loss of warranty.
The difference is that we do it as an independent. That means no sales targets pushing unnecessary work, no inflated dealer labour rates, just fair, straightforward advice and skilled hands that genuinely know these vehicles. From a 1948 Series model to the newest Range Rover, if it wears a Land Rover badge, we know it.
